“Cocoa is a Goffin's Cockatoo. They are smart birds and they get bored easily. Cocoa's favourite toy is hardware. She will do and un-do nuts and bolts for fun. All cockatoos are crested, they have a knot of feathers on their heads that they can raise or lower according to mood. Cocoa's crest is salmon coloured.

Goffins are a "Threatened" species in the wilds of Indonesia, where they're from, and there are now more Goffins in captivity than in the wild. Goffin's cockatoos are the smallest of the cockatoo family.

Cocoa likes to sing opera and yell "HELLO - BEAR CREEK!" like she's answering our phone.
