Bear Creek Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, was founded in 1989 by Werner Ebner.
We are a volunteer driven Private Foundation Registered Charity. We provide a safe haven for unwanted, abused and injured exotic and zoo surplus animals. We are authorized wildlife custodians through the Ministry of Natural Rescouces and Forestry. We rehabilitate injured, orphaned and indigenous wildlife. For many of the animals here, Bear Creek was the last resort prior to euthanasia.

We offer tours of our facility from June through August every summer. (By appointment only, weather permitting.) Please see our Tours page for more information.
